Saturday, October 2nd was an unexpectedly cold autumn day at the Studio Inn at St. Albans. But despite the brisk breeze also in attendance, the day was simply exquisite.
Amanda and Jeff, both being the outdoorsy folks that they are, chose a fantastic location for their ceremony and reception. The Studio sits atop a hill that overlooks miles of greenery. Personal details (which wedding planner Sabrina of Proposing Dreams helped manage) worked fabulously to make for an intimate and joyous occasion.
The charming floral arrangements were created by Wildflowers.
And to keep with the nature theme, Two Blue Doors created these elegant invitations designed with earth tones that also featured a different animal for each card.
Instead of traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for a variety of delectable pies. Even as a girl, Amanda adored horses. With this in mind, her mother surprised her with toy cowboy and cowgirl cake toppers. It really was a sweet, personalized touch.
And to get the party off to a bangin’ start, local St. Louis band The UltraViolets covered popular, catchy tunes. This of course led to a dance-off…
This wedding really was a fairy tale. Best of luck to Amanda and Jeff on their “happily ever after.”
